  Do Catholic parents in Sg prepare christening gowns for their kids for infant baptism?

  Where can we get christening gowns in sg?

  thanks.  I am not sure whether I am having a reception after that, cuz I dunno who to invite for this ceremony.  First time I am doing this.

  I'm not sure if I can invite my family.  My whole entire family has converted to Buddhism except my bro who is now an atheist :(

  Years ago when I announced to my family that I was going to receive confirmation, they looked unhappy :(

  Now I dunno how to invite them liao, even though they did turn up at my church wedding.

   

  If there is a celebration, how do people usually celebrate?  By having a reception at the Church?  But there will be other parents with their newly baptised babies.  Won't there be too crowded if they are also having a celebration?

   

  Sorry ah... having asked so many sua ku questions.  My parents stopped attending church while I was a kid.  So there are a lot of things I dunno.

  You could have a small gathering at home, buffet style, after the reception. That way your family don't really hafta attend the church thingy esp if they aren't keen on it. Take it like the chinese full moon thingy.

  I mean the christening party can be styled a bit like the full moon party. Just a small gathering like KB suggested.
