Hi,
I'm Aries, and we just got a magnificent gift from GOD...our son. But now, comes a little problem and i hope somebody in this forum can help me.
Does anybody know which Catholic church is friendly to families with babies? I mean, i want to bring my baby to the mass as well, but with all the crying, breastfeeding (bottlefeeding), and baby 'action' things...it seems to be a little bit troublesome. We normally went to the Risen Christ in Toa Payoh, but it seems to be very baby unfriendly ( a lot of stairs to climb, no special rooms or whatsoever ).
If you have any info regarding this...it would be very helpfull for us.
Thanks,
Aries
hmm.. i can't say about catholic church.. but my church v baby friendly, since we are having a baby boom now, and expo is quite visitor friendly. if u don't mind, i definitely welcome you to try my church, until your kid is bigger.
we even have programs for kids of different ages, to suit their learning and spiritual needs.
my church's "cradle roll" - the teachers will be singing nursery rhymes, and singing nursery praise and worship, and help your baby learn how to interact with others and helping them explore with toys etc. very good. =)
congrats on your baby boy btw =D
i love kids wahaha
Most of the newer churches that have had extensive renovations have an infants' room. Church of the Holy Spirit is one of them. It's my parish along Upper Thomson Road.

You can try St Mary of the Angels at Bukit Batok. It's one of the newer renovated churches around. They have special sound proof rooms separated from the rest of the congregation for parishioners who want to attend Mass with their young kids and babies. But I am not sure if they have any place for breastfeeding.
Yes, Risen Christ do not have one and you should consider going to Holy Spirit which is close by....but Mass timing is not the same.
Not sure if Christ The King (also near by) have same facilities....anyone who knows?
And dumb dumb, this facility is available at Holy Cross so you don't have to worry about it when you get settled down with yr gf.
I hate babies in church. That's why I try to avoid morning Sunday mass.......
Noisy little brat...........lol
We attend Holy Spirit at Thomson Rd. I always breastfeed my bb both in the church and in the infant room. It's really ok. If you are afraid of your baby making noise, then use the infant room. Go during the 9am mass. Not so crowded.
