The venue has been changed to St Patrick's Secondary School Chapel. Timings remain unchanged.

From Woodlands or Jalan Toa Payoh, one can take 966 to Parkway parade and change to the buses above.

1. They have this big signboard in front that tells you the Opening hymn is on which page, the Veni is on which page, the Closing is on which page.
2. The Mass Propers was printed. Only lament is it was not distributed with every Missal Ordinary booklet. In the end had to went out and take.
3. The Missal Ordinary booket has Latin on the left and English on the right. So nobody is hearing or singing mumbo jumbo. The booklet is a dummies' guide to Latin 101. Haha.
4. The booklet also makes it clear when you are supposed to stand, sit or kneel.
5. The flow was very smooth and I was able to follow the ritual with the help of the booklet. Predictably some confusion when the priest was going through his parts silently. But then he went through them so fast that I suspect whether he went through them at all.
6. I thought the schola position was weird. How come they stood between the priest/altar and the congregation? I remember at Holy Cross (few years ago), they were behind the congregation.
Was tired on the bus this morning. But felt very awake throughout the whole Mass. Think the Tridentine has therapeutic effect one .. or was it the incense??

Epiphany Propers
Oh there are no hard-and-fast rules as to where the schola should stand. Usually they stand where you can get the best sound. At Holy Cross, the roof was highest at that point where the schola sang from. Most of the time, the best sound is in the middle of the cross for cross-shaped churches. Singing at the front of the church is the practice in the FSSP parish in Sydney too. -

You can hope that there will be such Masses, but try ur best to come. to pray, and by your presence, to show that you want to have more of such masses in future!
If not those in the church hierachy can continue to say "ahhh, see, there is no demand for the TLMs..." -

The schola coordinated well with the conducting priest. -

For example .. the 'illegal' SSPX Masses and some other 'legal' Masses conducted by priests in good standing with Rome, albeit on a much smaller scale .. ahem. -
