Ferigno after Lou Ferigno but even I couldnt handle that kind of nameOriginally posted by Kuali Baba:What names did you pick for your Sacrament of Confirmation? Did any of you choose something that wasn't biblical or saintly?

It has the same purpose as the baptism name. The confirmation marks the beginning of a new episode of our life as a Catholic.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:pardon me but whats the purpose of a confirmation name?

I still remember, during my confirmation, the Archbishop would ask for the confirmation name. He said "What is your name?" And I had to say my confirmation name. And then he blessed me with the holy oil.
Yes, confirmation is done by the Archbishop, not a Priest.
As far as my knowledge can take me, yes.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:only happens in catholics?

I'm not taking any of it unless you really know someone who picked that as a confirmation name. The same goes for the post before your reply today.Originally posted by caleb_chiang:Why leh? Lucifer also biblical mah... you then nonsense!
