I just attended Mass at St Joseph's Church this morning...

It was really nice attending Mass at a different place.
This morning, I happened to be doing some errands in town. So I couldn't attend Mass at the parish near my place. What I did was I just opened up the Catholic Church directory 2007 to look for a church that is in town. Immediately I spotted three of them - Ss Peter and Paul, St Joseph's and Cathedral. All were having 10 am Mass. The timing was just right for me.
Summary of today's sermon at St Joseph's by Fr Michael Teo:
People like to ask,"Where is God when this and that happen?"
The answer is: God is everywhere. It all voices down to whether we allow God to enter our life. -
Btw...
I think I saw Paul Twohill. Not sure whether that was him. He was one of the altar boys. He has Paul Twohill's signature hairstyle, similar height and one of the droopy eyes (only 1 of them cuz the other was covered by his fringe). No eyeliners though. Can't see whether he has his braces on, so I wasn't sure whether that was him. -
Paul Twohill is not an altar boy lah.
If all the altar boys were like that we are in trouble.

LOL Twohill also attends Mass at Holy Spirit sometimes. His dad is a catechist too.
The echo at St Joseph's is awful, but it really feels like a church. You should've heard him muttering to himself at the back last Pentecost when the lector forgot to inform the congregation to stand for the sequence.

I was thinking of attending MASS... any recommendations? a Church, date/time that has very impressive MASS? You know the type that has lots of ancient rituals to follow? with choir boys, and the full works...
something like a MASS you would see if the Pope visits. -

There's very little to separate Masses at various Parishes on most weekends, though a few use incense over the offerings.
The Easter Vigil, on the Saturday night before Easter Sunday, would be what you're looking for. -

Unless of course you are referring to the Old Rite, which we only have once a year. -
