Has any one heard of or seen this happening recently?
There is a catholic graveyard in Johor Baru whereby most of the statues and crosses were destroyed. It seemed that, that particular graveyard was chosen because it 's statues were all of huge sizes. What the people did was they hacked off all of Mother Mary's head and throw them away. My granduncle's cross was also destroyed. Nobody knows about this until All Souls Day. -
I'm sorry to hear that your Grandpa's grave was desecrated.
Whether this had anything to do with the rumours of Muslims getting baptised, your guess is as good as mine.

If the info given to me was correct, it was published on front page (with picture) of the chinese paper sin chew jit poh. If i am able to get hold of that copy, i will post it here.

Generally vandalism in Malaysia are quite bad
Even their public phones and stuff were not spared, even if its new
