contemporary clean architecture but with none of the blaring flaws of other modern designs. in all respects, the two-storeyed church hall is free of distractions and helps me concentrate my attention on the altar, since it is the only decorated piece in the church hall apart from the single large installation of stained glass.
no fewer than four choirs (maybe more), one of which I am a member: Genesis II. we tend toward contemporary spiritual music, by preference using the piano, though the church electone can sometimes be our primary instrument. we shy from configuring our electone to anything other than organ settings. charismatic music is also way off our lists, considering that their energetic nature reduces its spirituality.

Joe Augustine was from G2 too... not sure if its the same as the DJ, because people misspell the DJ's name often and my choir leaders might have done the same...

fall asleep? Dunno leh. So far I never lah. Last year I did reading for mid night Mass, also never fall asleep. Dunno about this year -

The reason I ask is because the normal Mass is quite static one, as in you don't get to dance and sing like in disco. Then if you were out chionging before that then lagi worse. -

well I doubt anyone in my parish's midnight mass slept. every song was refreshing and rich (but far far from charistmatic!) of sorts, and at the end of the mass, the overwhelming majority of the congregation remained behind until the combined choir had finished our last (very long) song, and they all clapped for us. wow. haha. that was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I would say a fine finale to all those months of practice. haha.
