For example, when I attended the downtown Masses at Suntec last year, Fr. Terence Pereira was very clear about not holding hands. But elsewhere, the priests do not seem to have gotten the message across.
In any case, this is minor.
I had worse experience before. I was once in San Jose, California and for 2 weekends endured a parish (because it was the closest) where the pews had no kneelers and so the people did not kneel during consecration, where the words of Scriptures were changed to be gender-neutral, and where everyone recited the final Doxology.
I was very tempted to walk out and shake the dust off my feet.

In another diocese, the bishop declared it mortally sinful to kneel during the Agnus Dei. Wah lao!! -
they anyhow one or its approved by the vantican/Pope ?

Went there for Mass before. Not really that near. Not the location's fault. It's just that I am living in a God-foresaken place. So far from everywhere. I miss the east so much! Went to Queen of Peace for Mass this morning.
It was like.... "Ah.... I'm home again"
Every pillar, every pew looked so beautiful to me. They have renovated and installed air con. But the pews were still the old ones, which they merely repainted. But I love them. Before the Mass started, I touched the bench and was filled with so much fond memories.
This is one parish whereby everyone looks beautiful to me. This was the place where I got baptised and which has brought me back to the Catholic faith with its church bells at daily Mass. I would very much love to move back to the east and be part of QOP again. -

i personally feel that the tabernacle in OLPS siglap is nice. -
