no leh, last time got a good mix of both (think a lot of Uni students there also)

Paul Twohill's family attends Mass here. His father taught me Catecism in my Confirmation year.
Apparently that was also the first Confirmation His Grace celebrated as Archbishop. -

I don't like my present parish, but no choice. That's the only 1 around here.... unlike my own place, where I got to choose which church to go to for Mass.
I miss my old parish a lot! Queen of Peace. I was baptised there when I was a baby. Strangely enough, my family shifted to a few places and went back to the same area during the period that I was contemplating going back to the Catholic Church. My flat then was so near to the parish that I could hear the church bell ring at every Mass. I really loved it!
The people there are very humble and sincere. They don't pretend to be something else. This parish is blessed with all the nice priests too. During my time, there were Fr Carlo Ly and Fr Peter Koh. Both are beautiful people. A couple of years back, I met the parish priest then who was Fr Francis Li -- another wonderful person.
Currently I am in St Mary of the Angels. First of all, the Zen design put me off. It is really nice, but I really think a church shouldn't look like that. Just my view. I'm not saying they are wrong. 2ndly, I have yet to get to know the parishioners well enough. Too busy with my own things. Really look forward to activities and get together to get to know them more. I need friends...new friends in Church. Now I am always so lonely at Mass.

The design is very modern, but considering that it is a Franciscan parish, I'm not surprised. They are very 'progressive'.. -

everyone will kinda say their own church... or at least the one they feel most comfortable in... haha...
sometimes new churches give a too modern feel...
just takes time to get used to it... haha
