Its an artist's impression, yes, I do agree with you that it does not depict the Holy Trinity accurately.Originally posted by NT2:but something wrong with the picture leh. how can they artist depict the Holy Trinity as 3 figures. An old man, a young man and a dove?
cool down, its just a spelling/typo mistakeOriginally posted by NT2:wat toking u?
catholic....not catholtic
but no one has ever seen God. His presence is far more glorious and beautiful than tt painting...i feel that drawing out God is not giving due honor and respect to the Triune God.Originally posted by vince69:Its an artist's impression, yes, I do agree with you that it does not depict the Holy Trinity accurately.
Just guessing,
Christ the Son, 33yrs old, man
so the artist probably think God the Father to be an old man.
The dove is probably allure to the part where the Holy Spirit decend upon Christ like a dove upon His baptism.
Ikons can inspire people, but there's only so much a human work of art can depict.Originally posted by NT2:but no one has ever seen God. His presence is far more glorious and beautiful than tt painting...i feel that drawing out God is not giving due honor and respect to the Triune God.

Genesis 1:27God bless
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

so how can one really have an accurate painting? well, most artist just simply express it as in how he/she sees God to be. To some He is the Ancient of Days, to others he is the Kind and Loving Father, and yet others, He is the Majestic King. How each artist sees God determine how they express Him in their paintings.
*if you want to see an image of God? you can go look into the mirror, cause, you are created in His Image.
God bless
