both makes good frens, it's the personality tat counts for me.
however..
...when i need to grumble, grouse and b!tch about life, a female makes a better friend cuz she will be more empathic.
...but when i need serious advice, a male would be a better choice cuz he will give me more objective advice. Women tends to rely too much on emotions. -

A good example here will be FOS and Ah Ma who has always been great friends becoz they crap alot.. kekeke
