  Spitting in public has been ranked the most irritating habit in Singapore, according to a survey released on Wednesday by Reader's Digest.
  
  It beats queue jumping, bad driving and poor personal hygiene to take the top spot.
  
  Even though spitting in public has been banned for years in Singapore, people have been caught doing it.

  i find it damn irritating too.
  
  funny why i read of so many surveys but were not involved in a single one over 40 years.
