It may be good to check your records with the credit bureau or what u call it. They have a (dubious) track record of having messed-up and incorrect financial records and if the bank/cr card co referred to that wrong info., they might be wrongly misled into rejecting your application. Many ppl had written to the papers to complain abt wrong records (including anyhow say owing ppl money, bankrupt, etc.) and the bureau always blamed the banks for providing the wrong info.
Anyway, don't bother with such invitations unless it's pre-approved and free of charge. -
