6 pts clear!!!
i hope forrest can get promoted too. but chances are they will have to do it via playoffs.
Howay the Lads!
NUFC are 8 points clear of Forest with 1 game in hand. WBA in third, also with a game in hand.
i'm rotting for forest and newcastle.
Newcastle drew Middlesbrough 2-2 and have their lead cut to 4 points, but still have a game in hand.
Cardiff and Swansea are in the playoff zone. Possibility of a Welsh side in the big league next season is 50%.
Newcastle drew 2-2 again, this time at Bristol City.
WBA's win at Preston brings them within 2 points of the Magpies, but the latter have a game in hand.
newcastle beat doncaster 1 - 0.
i cant wait to see newcastle back in the top flight. i hope the owner will sell the club asap.
Isn't it ironic that they aer winning the league, albeit a lower one?
frankly before the season started i thought newcastle would be heading to league 1.
i am so happy they are going back to the premiership.
newcastle will be back to the premiership next season.
they beat peterborough 3 - 2 away.
its time to appoint a 'real' manager for a much more difficult contest next season.

Real manager? I think Mark Hugues can do it.
Newcastle and West Brom are back in the big league. Howay the lads!
Hope Magpies can chiong over 100 points in last 2 matches, just like Reading did last time.

But cannot break Reading's record of 106....
Yeah.. the Toons army are back to BPL.. too big a club to be lagging in a division below.... hopefully they can stay and not regelated again....

Yup, it's true. Anyway, Sunderland got 105 points before during one of their promotion campaigns.

I only support Hull because my grandpa hails from East Yorkshire. Therefore, support for clubs in that region should run in my blood.
However, Newcastle were my original team because I chose them way back in 1996. The Tigers were more of a family thing. My A Level history teacher said in UK most families "inherit" the local club (he is a Birmingham-born Aston Villa fan).
