  Newcastle beat Forest in a vital top-of-table clash over the weekend. They could gain promotion as early as Easter.

  frankly before the season started i thought newcastle would be heading to league 1.

  I only support Hull because my grandpa hails from East Yorkshire. Therefore, support for clubs in that region should run in my blood.

   

  However, Newcastle were my original team because I chose them way back in 1996. The Tigers were more of a family thing. My A Level history teacher said in UK most families "inherit" the local club (he is a Birmingham-born Aston Villa fan).

  The Toon Army can do it, I as a Leeds United fan completely back Newcastle United. Newcastle United have the class, but they are the biggest club in the Championship and they are able to compete and do very well.
