Reports suggesting that Hearts are lining up a summer swoop for Newcastle United midfielder Lee Bowyer have been played down by the player's agent.
The 29-year-old former England international has long been linked with a move away from St James' Park, but his representative, David Geiss, insisted he knew nothing of interest from the Jambos.
He told The Scotsman: "I don't know where that's come from. I haven't heard a thing from Hearts."
Meanwhile, midfielder Rudi Skacel has admitted that he dreams of playing in England one day, despite having only just penned a permanent deal with Hearts after a successful season-long loan.
He said: "I hope to go to the Premiership one day because it is the best league of all.
"Maybe I will go there this year, maybe next year or maybe in five years' time. Maybe it is only a dream and I will never go."
