Summer Scent Hye-Won (played by Sohn Ye-Jin), who has got a weak heart, is sitting alone by the playground, looking enviously at her classmates active in their gym class. Rain suddenly pours down, and she collapses down, grabbing her chest.
On a college campus, Min-Woo (played by Song Seung-Heon) runs fast to a nearby building to stay out of fitful rain (called yeowoobi in Korean: yeowoo means fox and bi means rain). There he meets a girl named Eun-Hye (played by Shin Ae) with a bouquet of flowers, who also ran under the eaves to be out of rain.
Min-Woo receives the bouquet from Eun-Hye by chance. He feels a bit awkward and tries to open up the conversation. "Isn't there an old saying that this kind of rain has something to do with a tiger?" "I thought it was the fox instead of a tiger," replies Eun-Hye. They both look at each other and smile. The film crew is now in Jeolla-do in Korea. Producer Yun Seok-Ho, who is famous for his talent of depicting the beauty of nature in Korea, is leading the crew in Jeolla-do. The team immersed themselves in the making of the film now.
