Welcome... for a moment, I was thinking nobody plays this game.
Just like you, I was looking for a site with information on this game, and I can't read Chinese and Japanese. So I thought perhaps start a place where all can come together to discuss about such issues. I'll be tabulating a list of places where this game can be found.
My ride is a Nissan Skyline R34 700 bhp. -
Lol.. I got 2 rides from Jurong Point. A toyota supra and R34. both only at 280hp. Only completed the very first character on the game. Nothing to brag about. I'm still a n00b. I more interested in Initial D. Sorry man.
About places to play, most star factory outlets have them. Other than that, no idea where else to find them. -
Hi, there's nothing to be sorry about. This forum isn't to discriminate against who prefers to play what game. I've been to Jurong Point as well, seems that it's the cheapest for this game in town. Anyway, welcome.

Lol. I'm glad. Somehow i feel that Maximum Tune without a clutch is not very fun leh. I mean with quite a realistic gear shifts, the only thing lacking in the game is the clutch. Anyway, that's just some thoughts. By thw way how to take a corner nicely or rather 'drift' around it.

I agree, without clutch really is not that fun. The gear shifts are like too close together as well, but for me personally it's the gameplay part that has attracted me. Well, there's no correct way to take a corner or drift. For myself, I'm use manual transmission. for a U-turn, I use gear 4-3-4-5-6, for 90° turn, 4-5-6. That's on grip settings. Btw, anyone completed the game, cuz I've maxed out my card and even had to renew it. The max horsepower you can go is 800 bhp. That can be shared with your handling. Any special stages or secret that anyone know? -
If there's clutch, it will be more realistic but gameplay will be harder.

And I heard there is a car (Z31) that can only get with a cheat code (something like the GC8V on IDAS)...
