Birmingham v Man United
A David vs Goliath match with majority wondering how many will Man U plunder against Birmingham... Sadly the answer was NONE redz, Baseline n BeNo capitalize with a DRAW prediction with BeNo gaining maximum points. Well Done!!!
Arsenal v Villa
It b crazy 2 think Villa will b the side to halt the Gunners's 48 unbeaten streak in Game 49. xking certainly think so n ends up the only one without a point Once again BeNo shows uncanny accuracy in being the only one getting maximum point!!!
Blackburn v Middlesborough
This time last yr, the meeting between these 2 clubs end in a high scoring 2-2. But Boro is not the old Boro of past seasons, this season they added extra firepower in Viduka n Hasselbank. Ok Viduka's not playing n BB has yet lost at home. Big Deal! A Tuguy sendoff signals the rampage of Boro with Mr Hasselnank helping himself 2 a HAT-TRICK!!! A varying split among predictors with xking, airbus, mercutioz, Baseline n BeNo getting some points out of this match.
Bolton v Crystal Palace
A 50-50 split for this match among predictors with xking, Baseline n RSP gaining maximum points for a 1 goal score to the home team.
Everton v Southhampton
Southampton is in freefall mode with 14 1st choices in medical conditions of varying magnitude. Add a manager without idea n u got a disaster waiting 2 happen. A lot of ppl is unconvinced of Everton's ability n current position n think their early X'mas must come 2 an end in this match. It nearly come true
but for a late winner from young Leon wats-his-name. BIGGEST curse from BeNo who saw his chance of taking over the leadership this week being snatched away at the 11th hour. Cheers goes to xking, cHaOs, mercutioz n Baseline who persist n believe in the magical form of the current Everton side.
Fulham v Liverpool
There shld b a lot of Reds supporters among the predictors but most was quite modest with their side recording a resounding win over a mid-table outfit in Fulham. airbus, cHaOs n BeNo saw DRAW over this match. Most of us got a point off this match with the ones believing in the redz winning comfortably getting an extra point for GD. All thanks to Igor Biscan, a nearly forgotten man. A sidenote to this match, Liverpool has been winning one and losing the next if anyone observe the trend of Liverpool's last 5 matches. The last game was lost to Man U, so following the pattern, there was without a doubt they will persist against Fulham. Altho I personally nearly had a heart attack in the 1st half, considering the wager I had on them.
WBA v Norwich
A clash of the relegation candidates. Congrats to airbus, lomchumpas, extremex, cHaOs, redz n RSP for seeing a BIG DRAW written all over this match. Sadly nobody predicted correctly and it was indeed a BORING match to end in 0-0.
Man City v Chelsea
An upset of enormous proportion. It was comical 2 see Monsier Mouriho's reaction after the game. Special congratulation 2 airbus who stick his head out 4 an upset the rest of us nvr see coming. Well done.
OVERALL
BeNo shows his intention in capturing the leadership this week with a series of spot on predictions to rack up the early points. But the turning point comes in the Everton last min winner n his challenge pelter out as the rest of his predictions yield nothing. Baseline has another solid consistent performance with 10 points to slowly exert pressure on the top 2 guys. A couple of new faces in lomchumpas n RSP with decent showing getting 4 points n 8 points respectively. A battle royale is developing in midtable, with xking, airbus n cHaOs leading the charge on extremex who has dropped off the pace a bit. The others who didn't participate r slowly but surely been throw behind in the long season. -
