  Hmm.. i dunno much abt politics, but i guess it is the trend nowadays.
  
  Take for eg, Chinese garden MRT, there is a shelter linkway. Back then, the mrt was there for many years and there wasn't a shelter linkway. then contruction of it came and it halted for more than 6 months. Then b4 and election, the linkway was completed within a month. Wahhhhh, like that one ah!!
  
  My point is all this benefit b4 an election, is still a benefit. So even if it is not permanent, we as a resident still get to enjoy it right. Just make full use of it loh.
