questions on NRIC

  if i replace it now(lost) and after sometime i get it back...what do i do with the old IC?
  
  or is it better i wait for a while to see if anyone returns it?

  if the old one is returned or you get it back after a replacement has been made, surrender the old one to ICA Citizens Services Centre...

  i dunno ICA will see me a first time lose IC or second time. the last time i lost it was well before this system came to place. (if i remember correctly)
  
  if they take me as second time lose ic..then there's a 3mth waiting time...then how i do my med checkup??

  There is a period for u to replace ur ic. I tink it's 10 days..not sure about that..Perhaps you would want to check out the SIR website.
  
  If you have made a new and u found ur ic back..surrender the old one....it's a must!

  Think it's from the day u lost ur IC isn't it? Anyway, second time replacement cost $300 ar.. (i think)

  10 days from the day u lost it. However im not sure if it's 10 days..better check website. The other time i went to replace after a week..coz I knew that that person would not return me the wallet..sort of like pickpocket..and it was a lady who did that...to a poor student like me in MacDonalds..
