  I dont pick up phone calls because i dont have caller id and because i dont have caller id i dunno who's calling,hence no pick up.
  
  this statement drove 2 lecturers up the wall

  I think all telcoms charge money for caller ID. As in it's not free.
  Maybe they give 6 months free, but after that you have to pay.
