more than 10 years ago.. yet the 2 albums from her band Baby Animals remain pretty good to have a listen to.. one of my faves is Impossible to Fly which was not found in either of the albums...

when Jagged Little Pill came out, i went WOW!! the critics said she was a flash in the pan.. but she has proven she wasn't.. despite the first disco-type albums which were pretty crappy

there's also the local pocket dynamite, Wendi Koh.. however, just heard her live, covering other people's songs...
