If really no choice... Then let him in...Originally posted by bismarck:i was thinking, if u know yr MP is coming to visit, would u open the doors and let him in.
if yes, waht would u be saying to him?
Politicians are busy ppl, they don't make unannounced social visits. If they do visit normally they come bearing gifts, thats when they want something from you.Originally posted by ahkico:If really no choice... Then let him in...
Offer him a nice cold drink on tis hot dae...
Let him talk watever he wants...
I dun think so they will ask anything because when they do come they will be accompanied by many underlings and news people. Imagine you asked for your son's deferment or help to get yur child into the neighbourhood school or ask to rent a stall in hawker center(for unbelivable low rental!) do you think the minister will be in a position to turn it down? That's why they won't ask anything .. just smile while shaking yur hand and looking into the camera that sort of thing ...Originally posted by bismarck:usually they will ask questions.
anyway when they ask if u got anyting to say, waht would u say>
a few years back, i nearly questioned my MP on his promises because i was still innocent from all these politics thing. completely oblivious.Originally posted by arburthen?:I dun think so they will ask anything because when they do come they will be accompanied by many underlings and news people. But if they dare to ask me, I will unashamedly ask him to help me get a stall @ local hawker center.

Heh, i would learn from my mum. Firstly, welcome him and make him feel at home. After a few minutes of interraction, it will be time to complain.Originally posted by bismarck:i was thinking, if u know yr MP is coming to visit, would u open the doors and let him in.
