immediately after she woke up, she asked my relatives, " did the doctor lie to me? i didnt see him operating on me. i only saw the lights when i was in the OT and i fell asleep. after that i was out here already"

my dad drove the both of us to see her in the evening and my mum, sis wasnt free. so my gran asked my dad (in front of others), "how did u come " take taxi?"
so my dad explained to her that he drove us(dad and i ) here and she stil hear wrongly and asked the same Q, so my dad dangled the car key for her to see.
i acted smart and tried to imitate the turning of the steering wheel for her to see(to illustrate driving) and my gran asked my dad " u drove a lorry here?"
