What's the market price for a PS2 now?

  For a modified PS2, 2 controllers, 1 memory card, and 10 games...all for $438. Do you guys think this is a good deal or bad deal?

  hmmm.. ithink quite ok leh.. cos including games n another controller.
  if im not wrg i juz saw outside selling one set.. one controller n amemory card abt $320 or $340.

  I have asked at quite a few shops, and the reason they all gave for the high price was because the new PS2 can no longer be modified, so hence the rise in prices of modified PS2 nowadays.
  
  Is that true??
  
  The shops I have asked so far all quoted me between $380 - $450 for just a modified PS2 alone with no freebies!!

  true. was eavesdropping on a shop staff at SLS talking to customers on xbox...now microsoft will ban consoles with modded chips frm playing online

  try going to queenway shopping centre, I got mine for $432 for a modified PS2, 2 controller, 1 memory card n 10 pirated games.
  But that's in Aug, not sure about now though.

  coz the shopkeepers all say new batch of ps2 cannot be modified, so old batch's price has gone up.
