  hmm there's been some probs
  
  when i typed format c:
  it tells me the drive is in use by another process
  this drive may be formatted if the volume is dismounted first
  
  all open handles to this volume would then be invalid

  before that u need to go bios and set boot from CD first...

  anyway i got help from the net...quite lengthy
  
  had some major probs here and tehre.....
  had to solve it on my own...haiz......
  
  sian...reformat liao it seems windows wants to format the same disc all over again or something.....
  
  oh well...better take care of my com now that's it's all done...
  
  but the weird thing is that it doesnt seem to be much faster than before reformatting, (note i havent copy back the data files and stuff) only install the commonly used apps.

  Aiyoh, you can't format your PC if u are in Windows.
  
  Boot up in MS Dos and then type format lah.

  for c: drive, u have to format it from your CD ROM drive. Cos u cannot format c: drive from c: drive.
