How many of u guys here play lego before and/or now ?

i was 1 of them and i usually drove my parents nuts with my scrutiny for detail when looking at sets of say, castles and i say that this castle set lacks food or water for example. or how come the eyes dont close at all.
had this big box full of it...still resting in my room, dont bear to throw away. a source of quarrels and fun with my sis... -
yea...did play wif it...oni when wrking in lego roadshows!

i also want to know, what have u guys built using lego bricks besides the models that had an instruction manual
i built a car based on the aliens movie ( there's this APC lookalike thing with this turret behind that shifted out of the way when it went underground) i built the whole thing using lego...and attempted to move it by attaching motors. but it was too heavy as i used very thick bricks
then inspired from titanic, i managed to build the crankshaft and related parts of the steam engine ( u know in the movie, u see this giant crap moving in the engine room) -
i got my Legos from a neighbour who was trying to pacify my younger brother brawling away...
i always build a house wif the Legos in slightly different designs & play "jia jia jiu" with the Legos humans. the same old repeated thing i do wif Legos. -

yupyup..i used to play with those lego houses..then secondary school is play with lego technics..make robots using lego..then program the robot to play soccer

but i had a big tub of mixed lego blocks and watnot. all different sizes and colours. got parts of a house, like the fence, and things like the hinge block-where you are attach to other blocks and they can rotate about each other.
always mixed and match to build multi-coloured houses, vehicles with doors that can open (thanks to the hinge block), guns and whatnot.
Legos are the best toys for a child. -
hee hee used to complete with my bro over the number of lego pieces to build something.... in the end combine to build 1 huge inspirational house

used to play those town n construction ver, still can remembe i built 1 police station, inside there got a few officer...heehee, so fun at dat time..den there was dis bulldozer too, heehee.

Heheheheh when some girls were playing with barbie dolls and changing the clothes on the dolls, I was putting on wigs and helmets on the lego guys and changing their bodies here and there, and putting one head on a brick.
I made alot of houses and carriages.... cos I didn't know how to make anything else. But I did make a battery-operated fire-engine before.
