Any detailing tips to share??
I use AutoGlym paint renovator to rid some of the stubborn stains and minor scratches. Beware that this causes whirls to appear. I follow up with GLARE professional polish I bought from Aust... You can;t get this in singapore as they won;t sell it to you. They want to charge something like 500+ per car.. Ka Pui
But I have to admit it is a very good polish. Fills up all the whirls and gives it a seriously smooth finish that LAST. Cost me about 70+SG per bottle!!! But well worth it.
Oh ya forgot to add. You guys read about the clay bar thingy?! Well you can get a very similar product here from Stamford Tyres at Jurong. It is some Jap brand but it works wonders at removing the little impurities embedded in your paint. A definite must before any polishing job!! Cost about 15SG only!
Another tip I can offer is to apply some amour all to your rubber seals esp. the ones in contact with your car rfame. This will help to reduces all the irritating squeaks...

RainX on the glass to keep the water running and prevent staining.
Eraser to remove polish stains on the black rubber parts. Some say Peanut Butter as well.
Then I use AutoGlym bumper care to make it black and protect the black parts from fading too quickly.
Wiper Renew on the rubber part of the wiper in contact with the windscreen. Keeps it soft and supple, ready for the next wipe!

You can't buy it and have a Singapore Add. The parent company will inform the local dealer of the interest and they will block the order. I know because I tried. That is why I had to buy it from Aust!!

But Glare Singapore wil not sell to you. So you need to complain to the US office.

My 9-3 was Glare polished last year... result was good. Those guys issue a 18-mth warranty for gloss index.
Personally, I don't think that one polish can last for so long. And having check out the price at its US website, I think the price they charge here is way too high.
Their service is pretty good though.... perhaps because of the high price they charge???
They should at least sell the Glare Polish to their customers -
I admit GLARE polish is good, In fact I think it is the best I have seen so far.
But the Singapore guys are charging way too much for a single polish... At that rate you could almost re spray you whole car!!!
Aust sell it for about 50/bottle.. With Xchange rate and airfreight cost about 70/bottle
1 bottle easily can do 2 complete polishes. I bought 2 for myself so I am covered for some time
BTW the thing about needing the buffer to rotate at a certain rpm fo rthe polish to be applied properly is a joke.. Probably a gimmick so that you go to them!~
