VW challenge

  Tonight I was challenged at a tracfic light by a heavily modded VW Bora. 17" rims , body kit, uprated exhuast and lowered suspension.
  
  It all started when I had cut into his lane(politely i might add) before the traffic light at Alexandra Road. Ofviously he seemed a little upset and took the inner most lane which was also free.... After some devil stares and engine revving I decided that his ego needed a lesson.
  
  Of course the secret Juice was in and within 200m he was like 4 car lengths behind Hitting a 120+km/hr i decided it was enough. By then I had a huge grin on my face

  most stock top range 9-3s take about 7-8s to hit 100

  Well let me just say that there are some of us with a magic potion that allows our cars to go a litlle faster than they were intended by Saab

  thank you for the invite. unfortunately, i do not own a saab and more importantly, i will not be in singapore. i am taking part in a race in malaysia

  Did you upgrade to the BSR PPC System ? They might have done the job? Sometimes with this extra juice comes in handy with jokers out there who feel Saab cars are for Uncles.

  Don't mean to shower on your parade - but don't you think it is an uneven playing field to challenge a Bora 1.6NA? Do you think you can achieve the same result if you ran w/ VW of similar size like the Passat 1.8T?
  
  The point is that such challenges are pointless. It just makes others think that Saab owners are angry drivers & bullies. Similarly, what would you think if an EVO driver 'shouts' about his victory over a Nissan Sunny! Just like what someone said in a forum - win liao also paiseh!
