Singapore Proverbs & Culture Shock in Singapore

  Dear friends,
  
  I need help on the above mentioned... My foreign friend is doing her thesis and was asking me to list out some proverbs that only Singapreans use... But I can't think of any....
  
  Also, for all the foreigners working in Singapore, which are the biggest culture shocks that you have suffered when you first worked/studied here? Please share!!! Thanks!!!!
