Which is a better way of resolving a dispute within this entire sgforums, say...between 2 parties?
slug it out in forum thread after thread, until one party calls for a truce and the topic is closed/deleted. 
organise an outing(eg. ktv), with its 2 parties turning up to settle the matter face to face and perhaps additional participants acting as alibis'.
Care to share your suggestions, ideas, and opinions? I would love to hear them. Thank you for taking time to read this.

i think that everyone here is entitled to his/her own opinion/thinking.
clashes of different views here should be left to the parties involved to handle themselves, unless one side wants a true or showdown with the other.

Now imagine if no one response back to the flaming. The flame starter will then feel that the forum is dead and leave. (hypothetical ideal situation).
It's the same kind of feeling any newbies feel when they first come to the forum. If they feel welcomed, they will stay. If no one pays attention to the newbies, they will not stay.
Of course, we haven't take into account of idiots who flame non-stop for no apparent reasons. -
