  Local kopitiams are charging less for beer due to the lower taxes on alcohol. But pubs & clubs wont pass on the savings to their customers.
  So for those that stays near AMK or in that district itself, good for u if u r a regular/ casual drinker, coz the prices on beer has dripped.
  
  1) For those tat stays in othe parts of s'pore eg. Pasir Ris, wld u flock over to AMK just for that few cents diff in beer price (dun 4get ur transport)?
  
  2) Whereas for those that patronize pubs & clubs, wld u "downgrade" yourself with no live band & entertainments for half the beer price u pay?

  it really have to depends on the mood and the enviroment lor.. for me i definately wont proposely go down to AMK for a few cent cheaper beer... u are right.... including the transportation... then it will be back to square one..

  wow... laurence82 cool guy.. me just smoke and drink so think i am not that bad also right... got a bit drunk on friday night when i was in penang drinking alone...

  1) Just to get "high"
  2) Karaoke and beer?
  3) Enviroment?
  4) someone to talk to ?
  
  Morning is not the major concern for drinkers. But I won't go for a drink in pubs during Christmas, a can of beer can be up to $15.

  most properly will be the last two ba... no point getting high.. then the next day will suffer from hang over...
