I have not been able to successfully complete the lesson on ILS landing. I have problems with throttle control to achieve the correct height. In fact I even have problems with the localizer and tend to stray to the left or right.
Hence I decided I will be better off practicing ILS landings without Rod's voice incessantly making noise.
I have gone through the Learning Center part I do not know how to tune the radio to set VOR1 to act as the ILS display. And how do I know whats the frequency for particular airports ?
click on the airport in map view. will give you the ILS for each runway if applicable.
once you're estb on the loc and guideslope, juz take it easy getting down.
Thanks.
I do know how to get the ILS frequency from the GPS. I wonder if using the map view will be the same.
Anyway after getting the frequency, how do I tune the VOR indicator ?
P.S : I lent my copy of FS2004 to a friend as he is going for the 2nd round of SIA pilot selection soon. So I can only test out any advice given after he returns me the game
