Valuair to begin selling discounted tickets to Hong Kong, Jakarta

SINGAPORE : Valuair has unveiled its introductory promotional fares to Hong Kong and Jakarta.
Return tickets to Hong Kong will cost S$300. They go on sale from 1 May.
Jakarta tickets will go on sale from 5 May and cost S$138 - the same it is currently charging for return flights to Bangkok.
These tickets are less than half the price normally charged for an SIA flight.
The promotion however will not last long.
Bangkok fares will rise to S$199 from June 1 when the current promotion expires.
And the Jakarta and Hong Kong promotions will expire end-June.
In the meantime, Valuair's inaugural commercial flight took off on Friday for Bangkok - a charter flight organised by one of its shareholders, asiatravel.com
Tickets for this were all sold out in just 10 minutes.
Valuair 's first real scheduled flight takes off next Wednesday to Thailand.
It has now secured air rights to both Hong Kong and Jakarta, but is still awaiting landing rights.
If all goes to plan, it will touch down in Hong Kong on 7 May and Jakarta three days later. - CNA -
I would rather got for SQ and CX package.....SQ at $388 and CX at $390 for return Y class airfare and 2 nights accomodation at HKG.
A B744, A330 and B777s sound much more tempting to me that an A320.
