The first Valuair A320 had arrived last saturday at Changi. Unfortunately, the photo in the papers were of too low qulaity to discern the registration.
Anyone noe?
Also, im mildly surprised that it is operating from Terminal 1. -
Saw the pic. It's livery is really too simple.

the pic posted by superbus is i think frm airliners n its still wz de french registration for testing at TLS.
I honestly feel that we shud give our local, our own budget carriers a chance n support rather than some "foreigners" budget carriers who ,at de end fo de day, sapu our $$$ back to their own land.

My opinion : This is one of the few times I see Singapore reacting instead of being proactive in adopting global/regional market trend.
LCCs have been around for a while, in fact Air Asia have been flying for more than 5 years. The local markets only started to feel the threat only in recent months after AXM (Air Asia) after announcing plans to launch services from Senai and even S'pore.
Why didn't SIA proact on this and convert SLK into an LCC too ?
At the height of the launch of Air Asia in JB, SLK still maintains that I will not be a no frill airlines.
Why didn't our local CAA forsee this ? If they have envisage the demand for no-frill flights, they would have developed an LCC terminal in the past years instead of that small uperty "Business/General Aviation Terminal" in changi
Now that RWY 3 is almost up and running, why not convert that as an LCC terminal/airport ? -

wah piang!! RWY 3 was built wz A380/B74X in mind.No way they gonna put aside RWY3 solely for LCC.esp wz a PCN of almost 100!
hav u seen the W of Rwy 3? and de bay separation already cater for A380 stgger wing tip separation wz other typs..

Seemed that what LKY said is true, SIA or CAAS do not foresee that happening. But better late than never.
