I was quite surprised when it crossed my eyes, but the inscription on the fuselage and years of experience told me that it was a Il-76TD.

Boeing presence yesterday:
2BBJs and one corporate jet N23M arriving from Beijing as N439BA. Last 2 letters denote Boeing flight. As expected, SQ announcing their intention to buy 50 aircraft at least. I hope that they buy Boeing's package of B7E7s
Merpati B737-200 PK-MBH. Normally they send F100s -
JAL has flew her first 773ER to SIn on 1st july. PR flew 747-400 on the 26th June. SQ's first flight to New York is 9V-SGC.

JL719 operating 772ER on weekends and 773ER on weekdays until end of July.
From August onwards, JL719 will be operated by 773ER daily.
China Airlines will be replacing their A300B4-600s with A330-300s in the future, that will be updated here once we got the date.
Qatar Airways will be replacing their A300s with A330 from August 2004.
Qantas will be operating their A330-300s replacing the B767-300s last quarter of this year.
Northwest airlines will be replacing their DC-10s with A330-200s from 1st DEC 2004.
Singapore Airlines and All Nippon Airways will be code-sharing flights on SIN-NRT routes and some domestic flights in Japan. It is rumoured that NH might move to T2 and AF to move to T1.

Not rare at all but i'd just post it here as plane spotting. Got this on 3rd July, and is the first Thai B744 added to my collection that is flooded with far too many Thai A300s.
She looks rather clean, IMO. -

Where do you take all your superb photos from? They seem too detailed to be taken from the Changi Coastal Road or either of the Viewing Galleries. Do you have access to some place that most of us don't?
