With the new APS ground handling team set up by SATS,There's more strict rules to be enforced.Reduce of delays,Better baggage handling.Rumours that APS will be fined by CAAS if it was a baggage or apron delay.On top of that they need to pay SATS also..

Not a rumour. It is confirmed.
i think the main problem with tiger is that they keep changing your ticket timings, sometimes even the DAY.
ground crew wise, so far nothing when it comes to luggage, check-in...

no problems with air asia and jetstar... yet
tiger is pretty common.
the only time there was a "problem" with jetstar was when the return night flight was delayed till the early morning, but luckily that wasn't my flight.

Took many trips with Tiger ex-SIN to destinations in Thailand... Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi, Bangkok, Hat Yai... Some of those destinations Tiger does not serve anymore. But I think their service was just ok... Not that bad as what some people say... Those people must have got to pampered with taking Silkair and Singapore Airlines all the time.

i actually don't care about the service
its just like taking a 2-3hr bus ride
i just don't like they way they change my timings / dates... but so far i only experienced with tiger, not with the other 2 airlines.
