Singapore budget carrier, Jetstar Asia, and sister airline Jetstar in Australia, have scrapped fuel surcharges on most international services, in line with falling oil prices.
Before the cut, travellers were paying up to $136 in fuel tax for a return trip from Singapore to Australia.
Jetstar Asia's chief executive officer Chong Phit Lian said the carrier wanted to pass on savings from the drop in fuel prices.
Airlines that continue to levy the fuel surcharge have also made some significant cuts.
Earlier this month, Singapore Airlines announced cuts of between five and 21 per cent.
It was the third round of reductions since September.
