All flights leaving Changi Airport for Paris have been cancelled or diverted due to bad weather.
In a highly unusual move, the French Civil Aviation Authority has closed the Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports as a precaution after a powerful storm struck northern France.
The French weather office has warned that much of northern France will be battered by winds of more than 100 kilometres per hour.
The Paris airports will stay shut till 5pm today Singapore time.
As a further precaution, Air France, Delta Airlines and Qantas have all cancelled their evening flights.
Singapore Airlines' afternoon flight has not been affected, but its evening flight will be diverted to Milan before making its way to Paris.
