air asia changed my flight date, what can i do?

hello...
i paid air tix ( round trip ) about 300 sing for the chinese new year, then just recently air asia email me and told me that my original date 23rd jan 2009 tix had been changed to 22nd jan. No refund if i dun accept. I was forced to travel on 22nd instead.
I asked to adjust my return tix as well, but the air asia said cannot,must purchase new tix. Then i asked for compensation, also cannot.
Can they really do that? i paid for the tix few months ago ler... what can i do now? any ideas?

When you bought your tix, did you sign any agreement that probably allowed them to change your airline tickets without your agreement etc etc etc?

pls. even if you take SIA, it's also the same. Don't you know that all airlines reserve the rights to change flight schedules without prior notice? Reasons due to change in flight schedule may include bad weather, flight operational needs, various reviews done on periodic basis, on an ad-hoc basis due to unforseen circumstances, etc.
Wonder which genius said only budget airlines give you all these crap. duh.
