Tiger Airways today expanded its Singapore fleet to 9 planes with the delivery of an A320 from the Airbus factory.
In its media statement, the low budget carrier said the new plane provides more capacity to take advantage of recent liberalisation between Malaysia and Singapore as well as other destinations.
The airline is due to start flight services to Kuching in East Malaysia on 20th November.
The Tiger Airways group has firm orders in place to grow its fleet to 72 Airbus aircraft over the next 7 years.
It now has 13 A320 aircraft, 9 in Singapore and 4 in Australia. --938Live
