hmm if u take up a PPL course in singapore, you will end up with a 'Restricted' PPL that allows you to fly in the training areas in singapore only. Most of the flying schools/clubs will then transfer you to JB to do the navigation part - after which you will get a Full PPL.
Height limits for training in singapore is generally 1,500 ft to 10,000 within training areas A and B under the control of Paya Lebar Approach.
