That is correct. The Warrior's trim is manual.
You'll find that the Warrior's low wing configuration allows it to get into ground effect sooner during the landing flare. If you're carrying a little excess airspeed during the flare, you might end up floating some distance down the runway before touching down.
I got my PPL in a Warrior some years back; when I was getting checked out in a C172 thereafter, its high wing configuration initially threw off the timing of my flare and I made a few, um, 'interesting' landings before getting the hang of it.
