Hi fett, i just browse thru this website.... hope it is helpful to your queries..Originally posted by fett:say, can anyone tell me about the training duration, trainee's pay etc, anything about flying training in SIA? i had to skip my interview 'cos of personal reasons. thanks people.
hi youngfree! yours on the 14/04/05??? Mine is on 15/04/05!. hehehe... hey can share with me the interview after you had done yours?Originally posted by youngfree1:I'm also going for my 1st interview with SIA as a cadet pilot this coming thursday 04/14. I went for the eye test as required and realized that I have some mild form of color blindness. Not sure whether I should proceed for the interview...
from what i know, if u did not get thru during the 1st interview, u still can apply. but if u fail during the 2nd or subsequent, then chances are very slim or zero.Originally posted by Boyzz_to_man:i heard that once you failed the SIA cadet pilot interview, they won't accept or call you up for the same interview again no matter how many times you re-apply the position. Can somebody clarify this?

The first interview will be the one where they screen you for your attitude and knowledge (not a lot on that).
They will select 10 peeps out of maybe 2 days of interviewees for the second round.
The second one will be a 3 days affair. (No quota here, if lucky all 10 may pass. Or maybe all 10 flunk)
1st day - Administration and aptitude test
2nd day - Situational test, panel interview (3 pilots, 2 managers, 1 psychiatrist) and tea party (also a test)
3rd day - Call HR for result
4th day - If got selected, proceed for Class 1 medical screening
After that, another round of waiting game for your medical result and also if you are successfully accepted.
If so, they will then invited you down to STC for briefing...

There is still the 21 days OBS after the briefing (the one at STC you go to if you pass your medical and is selected).Originally posted by Boyzz_to_man:so there is no such thing as going for OBS huh.. thanks for clarifying...
