E - Essential Letter in English
---------------------------------------------------------
I am posting a story about how difficult it is not to put in a particular symbol in a story. It is fifth in rankings. It is not a consonant but it is a sound producing symbol, with its four siblings, 'a', 'i', 'o' and 'u'. If you do not put it in a story, your story cannot sound right. Your story must talk about now and not about past. It will also not follow important basics of this thing taught in all schools. Basically, you cannot do without it.

Sorry, i was having difficulty sleeping and therefore decided to attempt to write something without the letter 'e'. Which explains the crap in the above paragraph. It has only 86 words which means i fail to meet the qualifying conditions. Oh well...
Anyway, you cannot use past tense if you do not want to use 'e'. Past tense of too many words use 'ed' thats why you cannot talk about the past. It wouldn't sound right because you cannot use basic words like 'the', 'be', even 'use'. And you will fail grammar because it is so hard to phrase it properly. So, you can't do without 'E'.
I had fun. A poem is more possible. 'E' is needed for a proper story i think. 'E' is essential in languag'e'.
Come to think of it, you can't spell the word 'spell' without using 'e'.
hehe, i believe his story was in his post already... the first para...Originally posted by DeadPoet:AAA, if you don't mind, can you post your work here, i.e. your 86 words story? I am very keen to take a look leh.
Yup. You're right.Originally posted by narz:hehe, i believe his story was in his post already... the first para...
So sorry AAA, I thought it was written by an English professor or someone like that.Originally posted by AdAptAliS:Yup. You're right.
Title is in bold. Story is in between the dashes. Explanation is at the bottom.
But i think the story too crappy liao. Even DP cannot tell.
Originally posted by AdAptAliS:Hi AAA, thatÂ’s right, your story may sound a bit silly without it. But its okay, you know it is worth it. How many of us can do this? Or want to do this? Frankly, not many I think. Glad to know that you did it.

Wa... is this a compliment? English Professor.Originally posted by DeadPoet:So sorry AAA, I thought it was written by an English professor or someone like that.
paiseh paiseh.
Ya.. Totally. But since mine doesn't have a plot to follow it was easier. Only need to find the words without 'e' to replace those with 'e'.Originally posted by DeadPoet:Hi AAA, thatÂ’s right, your story may sound a bit silly without it. At first I also doubt if I can do it. My story was constantly out of point; you know half way throughÂ… arghÂ… if only I can find a word toÂ… argh Â… sh*t, out of point again! You know what I am talking about right? It is so tough without using this symbol, so taxing on our mind and writing skills. But it is kind of cool too. So why wait, start writing now. It is fun. If I can do it, so can you!
