Happiness, as viewed by most people, is a sought destination. It is something to be. It is something to become. To this unfortunate lot, happiness is at the end of the rainbow, the pot of gold. They spend out a lifetime chasing rainbows. They might as well chase the shadows for they shall never find in the external that which only resides within.
Happiness is in the journey, not in the destination.
Happy is he/she who has found self. Happy is he/she who knows God. Happy is he/she who is enriching the lives of all those around him. Happy is he/she who is contributing something to make this world a better place in which to live. Happy is he whose work, whose chores, whose daily tasks, are labors of love. Happy is he/she who loves love. Happy is he/she who loves life.
Happiness is a state of mind. It can never be found in the material things about us, in such things as wealth, position or power. Disillusioned and disappointed are thy who spend a lifetime harvesting and accumulating more wealth than they need, only to discover, too late, that all the money in the world wonÂ’t buy a grain of happiness.
Happiness is an expression of appreciation for the things which have now. Happiness is today. Happiness is now. Each new dawn signals the birth of a glorious new day wherein we can both give and find love, contentment, cheerfulness and unselfish service.
Pleasures can be purchased, but not happiness.

but most of all, it was the company... and like Abe said, a decision to be happy
why be miserable? do what we can and then go on with our lives

My life seems to be going downhill. Was pretty much trouble-free last time, or at least i deal with troubles as they came. Now i'm like stuck with many problems that i don't know how to solve. Shoot~
But guess there still are happy moments in life now that i ought to treasure more instead of harping on those bad ones. Oh well... Talk is cheap. Need to start doing it first. -

My colleagues always ask me why am i so happy, but i can't answer them cos i don't have or need a reason to be happy.
Btw, i've read somewhere that our body recognizes our emotions through our body language, so if we smile, our body will detect this language as being happy and we will naturally feel happier. -
