Some of you have mentioned that it is very difficult to write a poem. A poem is just a form of expression. You do not need to use very difficult words or must rhyme for every sentence. One good example is the following poem by William Blake, a famous poet. He used simple words that a little child can understand.
Spring
Sound the Flute!
Now itÂ’s mute.
Birds delight
Day and Night
Nightingale
In the dale
Lark in sky,
Merrily,
Merrily, merrily to welcome in the year.
Little Boy,
Full of joy,
Little girl,
Sweet and small,
Cock does crow,
So do you
Merry voice
Infant noise
Merrily, merrily, to welcome in the year.
Little Lamb
Here I am,
Come and lick

Let me pull

Actually there's a game I used to play long ago in another forum... Anywayz, the game goes:
A list of 8-10 random words is given by one participant, and everyone will compose a poem consisting of all the words listed.
Granted, can get abit frustrating... Though very satisfying when the completed work managed to link up all the words
Really good practice too~!!! So...
