Do animals have feeling too?

My chinchilla (in raisin land now) would demonstrate his excitement whenever he heard the raisin box moved, or when he gets his runs. He'd be bouncing off the walls literally. He'd squeal when he's in pain, frightened or when he's having bad dreams. When he gets scolded he'd run and hide, when angry he'll turn his back and bo chup me, when he feels like good, he'll shake my hand, kiss my nose or just sit beside me. What a character, and such a dear friend.
Do animals have feelings, I bet they do. =] -

He squeal or tremble when he's scared. Bounce off the walls when he's excited, not when he's frightened.
