What kind of poem do you like?

Personally I like love poems because they bring back a lot of memories. But recently, I am thinking of writing poems on daily matters, like going to work, social issues, etc.
To be frank I have no write any poems for the past 10 years. Don't know can still write or not. So now set up DPS to learn from others people's works.
I believe that is a poet in everyone of us waiting to be awaken. -

Chinese poems should be kept as it is, in chinese. Dun translate, it spoils the beauty of the poem. I can type it out in chinese here if SGforums accept mandarin text. I can still recall some chinese poems i memorized in pri school.

poems about life
poems about emotions -
think for me, it's obvious.... i like poems that are striking, morbid, dark... reflecting the negative or darker side of life..... no doubt love poems and poems about beautiful aspects of life are lovely... but i prefer poems that strike at the heart or at the chords that remind us of the darker side of life.... and the reason that i like them is not because I'm depressed or what... I just think they are more poignant and memorable....
