He's sitting here but when you talk
to him, he does not answer; his eyes
hardly blink, his mouth hangs open;
on our television, the warrior
that he named after himself slays
dragons, trolls and evil wizards
in our living room; only his hands
twitch, they become his brains,
the controller becomes his nerve
center; he is here and not here
because he's in there, in that world
someone else created for those
who prefer fantasy over chores.

yes he played with either headphones off but usually with volume at low... cos i hate it when i talked to him and he can't hear.... and kicked up something ugly when the noise of his playing IRRITATES me while i watching tv....Originally posted by Bluesky_Liz:Maybe he is wearing headphones...
